dontmasktruth Hannah, many people also suffer with depression, whether clinical, or hardship/circumstance related, and it is not addressed enough honestly. You took the pain inside and did vocal and instrumental alchemy to turn it into an endless source of gold for us all. Your emotion is so tangible this music gets me every time. But I promise when the tears occasionally come out, they are tears of joy. Thank you to all who supported this work of love, I love you all for it. Favorite track: Sunrise.

FDA What I love about this album is the melancholic, soft and serene sound. It's calming and yet saddening to listen to. Freeway is my favorite song. Hannahs' voice is especially nice in this one and the flow is comfortable. Favorite track: Freeway.
Alyssa VS
Alyssa VS thumbnail
Alyssa VS Filled with beautiful melodies accompanied by silky smooth vocals. "Hollow Glow" is my favorite track lyrically, but it's so hard to pick a favorite as each song invites you to stay with it for a while. A bit reminiscent of Jenny Lewis, but Hannah has a voice all her own that needs to be heard. Favorite track: Hollow Glow.

Never Done 04:08
i thought my ship was coming in this losing streak had reached an end storm had passed; free at last but i run a race that can’t be won over & over & over it’s never done it’s never done ten long years in the city used to think the lights were pretty the magic may have faded away but i run a race that can’t be won over & over & over it’s never done it’s never done

Hollow Glow 04:07
this is me saying farewell to all of those who live to sell there must be more of life for me to see than famous folks and hip parties desperation, drugs and vanity give me something real, tangible and free hollow glow what do you have and who do you know? hollow glow sometimes the hardest thing is learning to say no traveled far from all that’s dear to me sold my soul to feel more free bought my friends, forgot my family addicted to cacophony falling further with each passing year feeding in self-celebratory fear hollow glow what do you have and who do you know? hollow glow sometimes the hardest thing is learning to say no but these blues won’t seem to pass and this pain it holds too fast my dreams, they all died a decade ago i’m older now but i can’t let go of who i thought i’d be it’s all too much for me
3.
Sunrise 02:06
i’ve been waiting for you and now the lights are low smoke will blind and mirrors lie to you bleeding blooms in alleyways we grow sunrise i love to follow you home somehow i’ll get you all alone time flies and one day we’ll be gone the memory is mine the burning bridge is yours you can take my mind but baby, close the door the flames will rise there’s ashes on the floor you hunt me down i will come back for more sunrise i love to follow you home somehow i’ll get you all alone time flies and one day we’ll be gone the memory is mine the burning bridge is yours
4.
happy birthday, season’s greetings years go by, we both keep breathing but i remember every inch of you your bright blue eyes the way you hold me while i cry shivers down my spine are you still mine? in a better place my body breaks but i can walk another mile for goodness sake make me forget for just a while i’m still stuck singing your song remembering what i did wrong ashamed of all the things i can’t erase every day this tired old tune will the fog be lifting soon will i get to see your smiling face in a better place? my body breaks but i can walk another mile for goodness sake make me forget for just a while
5.
my love whispers to me all the places he’ll see darling tell me true why can’t i go with you? it’s hard to let you go it’s tough to love you so it’s times like these i know i’d rather be alone, on my own i’d rather be the one, who has some fun i’d rather be alone, this bird has flown with the setting of the sun the night has just begun these days i’m finally starting to see we were never meant to be i don’t want to curse your name Lord knows i shouldn’t cast the blame i’d rather be alone, on my own i’d rather be the one, who has some fun i’d rather be alone, this bird has flown with the setting of the sun the night has just begun
6.
in my dreams you’re crawling back to me on skinned knees eating from the palm of my hand saying you’ll always love me but it’s too late i’ve heard too many lies to believe so i’ll only speak in riddles i’ll twist all my words to change your mind until your hope will wither as i take all your joy and make it mine standing in the shadows waiting for you to fall silence strangling your spirit crying while you crawl beg for more forgiveness head in your hands praying for my kiss well she may have your body but i am always going to keep your bliss standing in the shadows waiting for you to fall silence strangling your spirit crying while you crawl baby your pain is gonna equal mine if it’s the last thing i do till the day you breathe your last breath you won’t forget that i love you
7.
Freeway 03:55
flowers they sway and time goes by every day i try to let you go this time i know it’s all in my mind let it down, leave it low let it out, let it go got a freeway in my head and there’s only one way to go feeling good, feeling low is it right, i don’t know got a freeway in my head and there’s only one way to go oh, how the days go by watching birds in the sky i try to let you go this time i know it’s all in my mind
8.
In My Mind 02:18
though the seasons slowly change my love still remains for what’s not gone how many nights i’ve died hang my head and cried i’ll leave it all behind you, you can’t hide i love you in my mind when there’s a will there’s a way i will wait for that day haunting me but it’s not all in vain i slowly go insane whispering your name you, you can’t hide i love you in my mind when there’s a will there’s a way i will wait for that day i will wait for that day i will wait for that day
9.
Hurricanes 03:35
skies above are darkening i don’t know where you are take away these hurtful things i thought we’d come so far now every evening i go out sleeping by your door hurricanes are blowing this tidal wave to shore present flooded by the past i dwell inside a jar press my face against the glass mourning every scar stumbling through your cemetery craving to be craved time will tell the awful truth we won’t escape this maze but you are the one i adore always and forevermore we’ll sail this ship to the shore old familiar feeling of you slipping through my hands the sea will drag us out until we’re praying for the land don’t you know that i can see the truth behind your lies wasn’t me who gathered all those clouds inside your eyes but you are the one i adore always and forevermore we’ll sail this ship to the shore

Could It Be 03:12
tired of people treating me wrong and struggling to make it through though i’ve been alone so long i think that you might do could it be my spirit’s finally rising from the dead something about the way you hold me heals my aching head skies are finally clearing i’m feeling that there’s still a chance every touch leaves me reeling may i have this dance? could it be my spirit’s finally rising from the dead something about the way you hold me heals my aching head take me to your promise land sew me to your soul hold my heart inside your hand i’m ready to let go could it be that love is hiding in the words unsaid as i slowly let you know me you close the wounds that bled could it be my spirit’s finally rising from the dead something about the way you hold me heals my aching head you heal my aching head you heal my aching head

falling down again gambled a good friend so perfect i would never dare to touch... i’m fading fast can’t escape the past there’s poison in my blood but i don’t want to lose it i finally felt alive to keep the fuse lit you sometimes have to cry afraid to come down i’m flying up so high haunts me as i pray tempt me not today i’ve never been so sorry now I'm trying to explain numb away the pain it’s hurting those i love but i don’t want to lose it i finally feel alive to keep the fuse lit you sometimes have to cry afraid to come down i’m flying up so high

if i was more like her would you want me around if i knew the right words and didn’t let you down if i was more like her steady, strong and tough if i could play it cool would that be enough? i am worried that i don’t know who i am outside of trying to please a man i been waiting by the window to your heart and it’s tearing me apart wish i could make you stand still seems i can’t help how i feel what am i apart from this lose myself trying to win your kiss if i was more like her could i make you proud? instead of playing the fool staring at the ground doesn’t bother me i’m always last in line anything to stay on your mind watching you with her while i drift in the dark you know i’ve loved you from the start wish i could make you stand still seems i can’t help how i feel what am i apart from this lose myself trying to win your kiss

Winter Coat 02:59
driving down the street where you live nobody’s home sleepwalking till the day that you are mine and we’re alone haven’t seen your smile in a while that winter coat there’s a lump inside your throat our spirits used to intertwine you’ll always be on my mind you’ll always be on my mind small town, the leaves fall air is thick with rain remember when we wandered through the night breathing in smoke to kill the pain haven’t seen your smile in a while that winter coat there’s a lump inside your throat our spirits used to intertwine you’ll always be on my mind you’ll always be on my mind
